ram Tough roof assemblies combine the elastic properties of single ply membrane with the time-proven redundancy and abuse resistance of Built-Up Roofing technology.

ram-Tough's elastomeric mopping bitumen, KLB-100, is a thermoplastic elastomer material that combines Shell Kraton® SEBS rubber polymer with a highly select grade of unoxidized asphalt. As shown, the rubber material's weblike molecular structure creates a microscopic elastic network of strong rubberized strands. During the polymerization process, the network absorbs the bitumen to produce a waterproofing material with exceptional self-healing properties, excellent toughness, tenacity, adhesion, fatigue resistence, and cold temperature flexibility.
