RT-250 Demonstration : Deck Prep Renovation

	After existing overburden is removed, existing membrane must be removed to expose structural deck. Mechanical equipment to scarify, spud, shot blast or similar methods of concrete preparation are commonly utilized. This contractor is using a spudding machine.
	This photo shows a concrete planer being used to remove an existing membrane. Some mechanical removal methods also remove fins and protrusions that can be objectionable.
	This photo illustrates the degree of existing membrane removal required. Barrett standards require 85%-exposed concrete without any significant mass of old membrane materials remaining.
