RamTough KLB-100 SEBS rubber material’s web-like molecular structure creates a microscopic, elastic network of strong, rubberized strands with tough, interlocking styrene end blocks. During the polymerization process, the polymer network absorbs the asphalt light ends, producing a rubberized waterproofing material with properties that are far superior to regular oxidized roofing grade asphalt.

RamTough KLB-100 when combined with appropriate modified bitumen membranes, polyester or fiberglass ply sheets or cap sheets, delivers a compatible composite roofing membrane with extraordinary toughness, puncture, and impact resistance. RamTough KLB-100 is also recommended for buildings intolerant of water intrusion for high-performance requirements. When the building design requirements are for a long-life cycle, RamTough KLB-100 is a cost-effective solution.
