The adhesive layer utilizes advanced SBS-modified bitumen technology, ensuring strong, consistent adhesion across a wide range of temperatures and substrates, including plywood and metal. With a performance range from -40°F to 260°F (-40°C to 126°C), it delivers dependable durability in both extreme cold and heat. A split silicone-coated release liner simplifies handling and speeds up installation.

Manufactured at a robust 60 mil thickness, RamShield 250HTSA comes in 2-square rolls (3 ft x 66.7 ft) weighing approximately 50 lbs. Its superior tear strength and adhesion allow contractors to transport and position rolls with ease on the jobsite.

Most polyester reinforcements use low melting-point binders. PolyFelt 265VP is bonded with a heat resistant, cross-linked acrylic binder, providing excellent thermal stability, making it uniquely suited for use with hot asphalt applications. A condensing process during manufacture provides optimum fiber distribution and mat thickness which enhances bitumen “bleed-through” saturation from both top and bottom directions during application. These characteristics create a monolithic waterproof membrane, with all levels of bitumen connected with and through the fibrous reinforcement, forming a tough, homogeneous, multi-ply, redundant waterproofing assembly.

Should be overlapped a minimum of 12”, turn up above overburden at all perimeters and fasten immediately after installation. Any protruding fabric after overburden has been installed should be removed.
